FAMILY... Cant live with 'em...
...But you can move to Melbourne.
Ive just spent one of the most trying weeks with my family, i love them i do but goddamn they piss me off sometimes. But in saying that i did get a week off work. Been D and I have just been back to Ma and Pa Kettle's place to celebrate my youngest brothers 18th birthday (C) and to see my parents new house which is pretty much finished except for a few doors and furniture.
My brothers birthday was on Saturday night and i must say for all the people there they were pretty well behaved. Except for C who got very drunk, swore at everyone, headbutted his girlfriend and a few other select people, ran around butt naked and passed out on mums brand new $300 doona and made a bit of a mess.
My other brother J got busted my my grandmother smoking bongs on the kitchen table. Niiiice. And the house stood up to a major amount of traffic. I spend all day saturday preparing the food which everybody loved (what did i say about catering for large groups again???) and my ma had the foresight to get her gardeners out to serve the food so we didnt have to run around like mad chooks trying to socialize and feed people too.
The next day it was out to my grandparents for my grandfathers 70th (old bastard) and for family photos HAHAAAA! have you ever tried to co-ordinate 6 hungover boys? I did have a bit of pity for the photographer. And then after that it was into more food, more beer and a general good time hanging out with my cousins, my extended family and ignoring the ones i had the shits with.
So now for some pics, first the whole family minus my cousins brand new baby who was still in the hospital with mum. But daddy ( my cousin) was in there, somewhere, he's one of the twins lol!
And then theres my new fringe, and hair colour. I got sick of the dark burgandy red and couldnt afford the 200+ bucks for colour stripping so i did it myself for 80! I have some really nice ones of me and D and my hair but i have to wait to get them off the photographer.
Then an obligatory tourist photo at a local landmark. I know... Such a tourist...
And finally one from a 50's party i went to a while back. Not one of the best but I'm waiting on my friend to email the others to me.
So thats whats been happening recently. Now all thats over i can concentrate on getting into university which is turning out to be harder than i thought. But when i have an update on that i will post more.
