beauty in the grotesque
Beginning with a search for shadow boxes filled with odd ephemera, I sat for hours Saturday night riveted by all these websites dedicated to restoring the lost Victorian art of creative taxidermy, starting with:

Yes, this is what it's come to. Two weeks shy of 36, and I spend my Saturday evenings coveting dilapidated dioramas of stuffed pigeons in bustles.
