A COMPLETE FAILURE.
AN OBSCENE WASTE OF TIME.
How can this be?
He wanted so much, he tried so hard
To make them proud, to please them all.
But look at him today.
Their eyes averted his, and he ran in shame.
He tried so hard to be someone else.
He killed himself to be someone else.
He took his own life just to please them.
But that wasn't enough, they demanded more.
They asked for so much more.
More than he could ever give them.
Death wasn't enough.
And was this life worth it all?
He lies on his bed.
He lies in tears.
In torment.
Speaking of torment, im almost done reading "Invitation to a beheading", by Vladimir Nabokov. It is a great book, very intense and yes, very "kafkaesque", even though Nabokov admitted having never read Kafka prior to writing his book. Quite the contrast from Jane Austen's "Sense and sensibility" which i read previously and was painful to read at times.
Life in Montreal is not that bad these days.
