GOING BACK.

TEMPORARY VITALITY.

Its been a long time.
He's come a long way.
He's left darkness behind.

A new found freedom.
Strenght from within.
He now stands on his feet.

But dont you rejoyce.
Hope is not a lasting feeling.
Life is a winding road.
His journey has just begun.
There is no end in sight.
Up ahead i see the clouds.

But going back is not an option.
Dying is not an option today.

Its been over a year since i last wrote something in my journal, not that i had nothing to write about.
So much has happened, but i felt unable to write for a long time, or maybe just unable to share, or communicate what is going on in my head.
I was depressed for what seemed to me like an eternity, started and ended therapy i few months ago, started a vegan cafe, watched it burn to the ground, and ended up re-oepning it at a new location on October 28th.
Recorded a demo cd with my band Complications, went to Philly to play a punk fest.
Broke up with someone i had been seeing for 2 years (and remained good friends), got involved with someone some time after, had that coming to an end shortly after... Life.
Oh, yeah, got a bike destroyed in the fire, got a new bike; got that one stolen, and currently riding a purple piece of shit that sounds like its going to fall apart within the next block. But it was free so i can't complain. I could be walking everywhere. Not that im lazy, but biking is so much better.
I saw New Model Army 3 times in the past year also. Once as an accoustic band and twice as a complete act.
Best show of the year. Them and Skitkids. Oh, and i'm now 30.
Pete.
