I took my RE exam yesterday. Actual question from the test:
Outline 4 similarities between Neo (like, from The Matrix) and Jesus Christ. [8 marks]
And the exam hall was freezing. Because in case I havent posted this before, our school doesnt have heating. I dont say that as in it's the beginning of June in Maryland and River Hill "doesn't" have air conditioning. No. We don't have heating. You can't get that much gas this high, and the power is too unreliable (all the computers have individual power cells). So despite the fact that last week it was the equivalent of 28 F, there is no heat. Which, I found out yesterday, is the real reason we have a 2 month winter break, b/c when winter moves into the himalayas, all these families have to move to Goa to escape the 8, thats right, 8 feet of snow. Bloody hell.
Anyway, in case you're interested, list of cities Lex will be visiting in Jan:
New Delhi (for the 100th time), Agra, Varanasi, Kolkata, Hyderabad,Kovalam, Mysore, Mumbai, Ranthambore, Jodhpur, Jaisalmur, and Jaipur. Dang.
And the first 10 things she's gonna do when she gets home:
- Shower
- Sleep
- GOOD COFFEE!
- GOOD FOOD!
- Watch TV--in english!
- Call all my peeps!
- See all my peeps!
- Go shopping, but wait, here's the catch, in dollers. With a SET PRICE. (no more, "Ok, I'll give you 700 rupees for BOTH saris....")
- Get a hair cut.
- Visit RHHS, and commit mild acts of mayhem, such as poking the admin. for no apparent reason.
