ETA (8:25pm EST): BBC America says that 97% of African Americans in Georgia have voted in this election. That's not exactly a result, but it is amazing.

ETA (8:49pm EST): Fox is calling Georgia for McCain, but after 2000 (when Bush's cousin called Florida), I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.

ETA (9:00pm EST): Obama projected to win Michigan.

ETA (9:02pm EST): Fox is calling Ohio for Obama. I still don't trust them. But... ETA: Yahoo has Obama up by 200,000 votes in Ohio.

ETA (9:14pm EST): According to Kos's map, in Virginia, it's 872,842 (51%) O to 806,267 (48%) M with 55% of precincts reporting. Obama's also up in North Carolina with 33% reporting. ETA (9:16pm): Now, with 67% reporting, McCain's up in Virginia.

ETA (9:21 pm EST): NY Times has more conservative results in chart form.

ETA (9:22pm EST): MSNBC calls Ohio for Obama. BUT STAY IN LINE TO VOTE, PEOPLE. "PROJECTED" MEANS NOTHING. (My conspiracy-minded self is wondering if that's why they're calling it with only 11% of precincts reporting.)

ETA (9:32pm EST): Now they're calling New Mexico for Obama. But the same exhortation holds. STAY AND VOTE.

ETA (9:36pm EST): I'm headed out to the local campaign party and won't be updating this post for awhile. Feel free to keep posting in comments.

ETA (9:47pm EST): McCain's lead in Virginia is down to 5,000 votes with 73% reporting. Really going now.
