Get in touch with the local campaign headquarters and let them know your issues/preferences. They will need (in no particular order):

precinct runners (people who go from precinct to precinct and get the turnout number so far, then call back to HQ to let them know the number so HQ knows where to re-direct GOTV efforts; interaction is only with election officials and campaign staff, so it's not too many strangers)

manning the phones at HQ to coordinate GOTV efforts and re-supply

running supplies out to the people manning the precinct information handout stations (additional literature and sample ballots, umbrellas if it is raining in your area, flashlights if it is dark, warm drinks if it is cold)

GOTV canvassers (frequently one person can be both a precinct runner and canvasser, but no always - last minute door to door knocking)

driving a candidate for local office around to various precincts and keeping them on a time schedule (they usually get distracted trying to shake everyone's hand)

phone calling to GOTV of course

Election day is typically not the day for a lot of detailed data entry, but that can be done immediately before and after the election, and is usually very quiet and alone work; as is envelope stuffing and writing letters

Call your local HQ - I am sure they have plenty of things to do for introverts as well as extraverts.
