Actually, the one on the left is the girlfriend's: the design was modeled after one from YesWeCarve, except that that one had circular eyes with an I and a heart in them, respectively. Mine's the "vote" one - it might not be that fancy, but a lot of work went into that "O" (since neither of us used templates). But regardless, it was a fun and reasonably productive way to kill a couple of hours!

It was fun! I did both of mine, because I had so much fun doing the first one. And it looks like you did scrape-away carving on yours... I didn't even try to do that.

I hadn't been planning on it, but then I decided "You know, what the hell?" Wasn't sure how it'd turn out, but I was pretty pleased with the results.

If I had a printer I'd try to do one of Obama himself - those, in my opinion, are by far the coolest, the ones that use a picture of him and do the whole scrape-away thing with it to produce different shades and so on - but alas, I don't (and would probably botch it anyway). ^_^
