This article in today's WaPo about how young feminists are split between Clinton & Obama was interesting, but it left me feeling kind of eyeroll-y. Like, who ever said all feminists needed to be one monolithic voting bloc? We're not like the evangelicals - we can make up our own minds, you know

Exactly, makes total sense. Liberals are all about getting people to think for themselves and make informed choices.

That's why it would be so great if Hillary or Obama or Edwards got into office and instituted Universal Healthcare through the government - no more pesky choices about what plan to get! You only get one, and I for one am positive that a bloated buerocracy with no oversight (like FEMA during Katrina) will have no trouble at all providing Healthcare for everyone. It will be like getting Healthcare at the DMV! What could be better than that?

Then comes the convenience of Universal Pre-K which makes it so you don't have to choose how to raise your own child! And higher taxes will make it much easier to choose how to spend your money!

Plus, you won't have to choose a setting for your Air Conditioning, the government will do it for you!

Yup! One of the great things about liberals, Democrats, etc. is the way they can think for themselves! Truly, liberalism is correct - a bigger government means more choices for everyone! The Democrat Party is truly the party most concerned with choice!
