I really hope John McCain can see this through. As someone on my flist said, I'm not too concerned with who wins the Dem nomination, to be honest, even though I have my leanings. But the only ones I can live with from the Republican set are Giuliani and McCain. Seriously.

McCain has seriously disappointed me over the years, but I still like him a hell of a lot more than I like Giuliani and Huckabee. Although I kind of want Huckabee to win the nom, because I think he'll be so easy to beat.

Yes, John McCain has gone batshit over the years, but not NEARLY as much as the others. Giuliani is also crazy, but the kind of crazy I can live with.

My only fear about Huckabee is that even though we think he is easy to beat, this country has disappointed and shocked me in the past, so I don't assume anything about what the neo-cons will do.

You make a really good point. Who knows what bullshit this country is capable of swallowing these days.

He really isn't a moderate. It took me a long time to figure that out.

I still think he can lose a general election.

I'm in the house alone, watching the results, and someone put a cheesecake in the fridge.

This isn't going to be pretty.

It's gonna be a long, drawn out night.

I should just be pouring a drink and reading fanfic, because my candidate (Edwards) is a distant third, and the big news is the high Dem turnout, right? But I want to see more of that enthusiasm I saw at the caucuses. I just don't want that light dimmed.

Looks like they were really hyping Clinton as a loser and are so far shaping up to be wrong. It would be nice to actually have a factual, impartial press that didn't try to paint candidates however it suits them.

I'm just glad Huckabee doesn't look to stand much of a chance in NH so far.

I think they are pissed that Hilary is winning. I am watching CNN and it seems like they were disappointed that their polls were wrong.

At least Dobbs is saying everyone will have to CRAWL on their knees once this is over, although it still isn't soothing my pride much. Uhm, I doubt I'll ever have faith in the press again. MY GOD.

I know right? Especially after the media was reporting that Obama had a 10 point advantage.

I know. Last night on Keith Olbermann they were talking about whether the election was over already. Way to blow things out of proportion, media.

They *seriously* blew it all out of proportion. Sometimes I really hate the media.
