It's the day after Christmas and not much is going on in the news, what with the entire country out spending their gift cards and sleeping off yesterday's Christmas dinner. But here's a couple links that caught my eye.

++ I can't believe NYT devoted 6 pages to asking What's wrong with Cinderella. I see where the author is coming from, but OTOH, does it really matter in the long run if little girls are encouraged to dream of being princesses? I pretended to be Princess Marie of Magical Fairyland as a little girl, but then I also played with trucks and learned how to shoot my stepdad's 22, so what do I know.
