What heartens me is that anti-gay proposals aren't working like they have in the past. Could this be the end of gay-baiting to the point of creating a moral panic? Or is it the fact that many more straights have finally gotten into teh_hawt_buttsecks0rz that they don't see it as a huge threat to apple pie anymore?

I have been canvassing a very redneck portion of Prince William county (the rural-crescent) and happily report that so far 60% of those canvassed who were willing to talk about their position are against the bigoted and hateful Marshall/Newman amendment. If a majority are against it here, then Arlington and Alexandria will surely carry the day statewide. Woo HOO!

BTW - even better news, this is Marshall's district, and because of this stupid amendment they are finally aware of what he has and has not been focused on as their delegate to the legislature... next year they are NOT going to be re-electing him. One less ass-hat in Richmond, one less ass-hat in Richmond.
