There's an interesting article in todays' NYT entitled For Latinos in the Midwest, a Time to Be Heard. It's a great article, well worth the read.

But what really stuck out to me was the name of the town featured here:



Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there's a town in KANSAS named "Liberal"!!!!

Those wacky Kansans sure have a sense of irony.
