That's about twice as much as Bob Casey has on hand.

Bobby, who's anti-choice, pro-Alito, etc., was lured into the Senate race by Chuck Schumer's promise of unlimited DSCC funding and a clear field in the primary, so more liberal well-known candidates were forced out of the Senate race. So let Chuck donate.

My money goes to the DNC and to local candidates.

I hear ya - it's between a rock and a hard place with this race, for real. I hate Santorum with the fire of a thousand burning suns - but when I break it all down, how much better is Casey, really? Anti-choice and pro-Alito doesn't exactly endear me to him.

But in the end, I hold my nose and endorse Casey (theoretically, since I'm not a PA resident & all). Because anyone short of Satan has to be better than Santorum.

The Beltway folks decided that Pennsylvania needs a "conservative" Democratic candidate to beat Santorum, despite the fact that they tried the same gambit the last time Lil Ricky was running and the anti-choice, etc., Democratic candidate lost in 2000. We'll have a liberal grassroots college professor, Chuck Pennacchio, on the primary Democratic ballot to vote for, so here's hoping ( ... )

Man, I can relate. It's so hard when you want to vote for the "good" candidate who actually shares your values, but the good candidate doesn't have the support of the mainstream political establishment.

Casey is a joke, but Santorum is gawdawful. It's all about choosing the lesser of two evils in this battle.

Still, the whole thing leaves me with a sick feeling in my stomach.
