I have about 20 minutes here, but had to mention a couple stories that caught my eye.

Exxon profits in 2005 totaled $36.13 billion, up 46% from last year - which is the largest profit IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. So, how much did you pay to fill up your tank this morning again? *screams*

Corruption Scandals Cast Shadow on GOP Leadership Race. I love the part where the GOP reps say "the perceptions of corruption" are "neither fair nor accurate". *pets*
++ Several states are considering legislation that would

Enron's Lay & Skilling Face Potential Jurors. Why is this dragging out into the 5th year, and these guys still haven't gone to jail?!?
++ Dell's
outsourcing bonanza continues along with every other company's.
++ Senator Clinton has a
solid lead in the polls.

++ Today's WaPo has a feature on a guy who lives in the NoVA exurbs (Stafford), works in the NoVA city (Tyson's Corner), and commutes to work by
bus, train and hitchhiking. Yes, hitching! I didn't know anyone still did that. It's an amazing struggle that I can obviously relate to.
