Personally, I'm a little wary of this show. Why'd they have to get Thelma for the role? What about Louise? You know Susan Sarandon would KICK ASS in the Oval Office. Or maybe Emma Thompson, who was great as the not!Hillary Clinton in Primary Colors? Oooh, what about Glenn Close, who played not!Ruth Bader Ginsburg on The West Wing? How about Meryl Streep, who played not!Hillary Clinton in the 2004 remake of The Manchurian Candidate? Or that chick who played not!Hillary Clinton in The Day After Tomorrow?
Come on, we all know that Geena Davis is playing not!Hillary Clinton here as well. The details and the character traits are shuffled around, but the basic concept of setting up for a female president is obviously playing off Hillary's inevitable run.
I'm excited about Hillary in 2008, but I can't get myself excited about this show. ::woe::
