God every time someone screeches "The Nazis were really leftists see SOCIALISM IS IN THEIRNAME" I want to beat them with a fucking history book. No let's ignore the political climate of the era and and and and and like everything and focus on ONE WORD.

It's this psychotic attempt to blame all bad political movements on leftist thinking without realizing that maybe, just maybe, extremism is bad.

I hate people. I hate people that think they have any understanding of history just because they saw a very special episode of Where in Time is Carmen San Diego even more.

YES. Besides, anyone who brings up the Nazis in *any* arguement is a moron.

I was in Utah this weekend visiting my family and am utterly infatuated with Salt Lake City. It has its pockets of suckiness, but really, it's a fucking oasis compared to the rest of the state.

Interesting point in the Tuning Out Rush bit:

Might be true. Maybe we should focus on the homefront, and what's happening (and NOT happening) here!
