oh lj... its been too long
welll.... though its touch over due i just wanted to say that everyone did a really great job in celebrate dance! it was definitely worth flying across a country for a weekend!
i must say 2 favorite california gal's didnt let me down.... niether did heather of sara......;)
i cant really pick favorites since all the pieces were so different, but heater and sara's were up there... also i was delighted by mr. markeith's (i have no idea if i was even close to the correct spelling with that one.. well i think i'm at least close... really i think it's right... if its not perhaps you should consider changing it to that spelling anyway) and robert's was fun! it gave me chills.. i love seeing pushed boundaries!! i have a new place in my heart for bluegrass and large aunt jemima heads now. and any concert that can accomplish that must be a good concert!
anywho.. back in ny doing my final demo's ...theyre goin pretty well.. im almost done thank goodness... i'll be really sad to leave (most of) the people from my group though. theyre my new york friends and i'll hardley get to see them anymore... but it should be nice to get to work with and meet new people i suppose
just about a week until my oxygen comes to the big apple!! heather will be here for one glorious week then im flying back with her to cali for one glorious week... then i return to my harlem apt. and, on the bright side, im working orientation again so that'll be something to look forward to... and then the dreaded 3rd semester starts and there will be no happiness within me... i just might join the dark side, if only to save my loved ones.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *mechanically assisted breath*
also in less than a week my best ny bud and favorite rommie, kem is moving home to owosso michigan for the summer... lament!!!! my highschool chum kristy will be movin in for a couple months so that'll be nice.. but i imagine the months sans kem will be dismal... *shrug* oh well
dance workshop is coming up in like 2 days... its not a big deal to me cause im only in the 1st 2 dances and then i can nap in the back until the show is over.... if i mess up or anything .. there'll be a whole concert for people to forget about me... so im really not feeling much pressure... but it should still be fun
