Yep, you heard about this quirk of the calendar here first. Could Democrats (and Liberals of all denominations) have dreamed of anything better?
Larry Craig and his tantalizing story just refuse to go away! A news cycle after news cycle, this thing is dominating news. Republicans who were hoping for this Foley-esque story to just crawl under some large stone away from anyone's attention just found out that this is going to continue to haunt them. Larry Craig defiantly decided to fight against his own Party's stalwarts, in the process hurting GOP's chances in 2008 races all accross the country. Democrats are quiet and are not even voicing their opinions. It is not their fight but they may turn out the biggest beneficiaries of it :)
