The new face of Republican party

Behold, the Republican party has found its new face and its new voice!

It's Joe Wilson (R-SC)!

"As soon as Rep. Joe Wilson was identified as the person whose angry and audible outburst disrupted President Obama's health care speech to Congress, condemnation was swift -- and brutal."

Maaaan, I am loving it. While I do not believe in sanctity of presidential speeches or that anyone should ever be muzzled or crucified for speaking out of turn, this is funny. This guy underlines what the Republican Party has become. A walking, talking, "you are an asshole but who am I?" machine.

No substance, but empty condemnation.

Indeed, whatever he hoped to achieve while heckling the president during Barak Obama's health care speech (BBC's reaction to the speech), he may have given the Democrats the momentum and the higher ground in the health care debate.

And, I am hearing, his opponent for his next election is raising large amounts of money. As far as I am concerned, Joe Wilson's opponent, Mr. Rob Miller (D), should just replay the "You Lie" moment over and over and over, just plaster every available wall with a poster with Joe Wilson gaping-mouth finger-pointing outburst. Joe Wilson's bird is cooked.

health care, us congress, joe wilson, obama
