I'm just glad Zimmerman's finally in jail. The freakin' state attorney had to step in just to make this happen.

I'm taken with the reasoning, that they have some evidence he pursued Martin. That really does kind of wipe out the "self defense" claim (well, ostensibly - the facts will out, hopefully).

Had presumed some people defend George Zimmerman, or at least won't join the whole circus against him, because he's innocent until proven guilty.

I'd say there's a distinction between not rushing to judgement and pre-emptively defending him.

Well that's true. The problem is there's a strongly prejudice narrative coming from either side of the political divide on this, a lot of liberals have made there mind up already, just like a lot of people on the right. Although they hold very different opinions, both mobs are wrong.

Fair point. I'm impressed with Martin's family who keep reiterating that they just want a fair trial and will let the system work its course. That has to take a lot of courage to stick by those convictions in the face of the death of their son.
