OMG I totally wrote them a flaming email about how disturbing that comic was. Their answer was that it was for the mothers to read, so they could see how a child would perceive it. I told them that that was a load of bullshit and that PETA continuously made mistakes (mentioning Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee, and how they'd take their clothes off for anyone) re: advertising. Their last email was something like "PETA appreciates your interest, but we feel we have already answered your questions, blahblahblah."

Long story short, it's meant for mommies, not kids. Still, it's pretty fucked up.

Oh, I agree. I railed into them for their excuse of "It's so mothers see how horrible they are." Fucking PETA, sets animal rights back a few billion lightyears all thanks to their idiocy.
