100 Years
To hear that voice once more! Robert Smith talks just like he sings. We arrived late enough to avoid the direct sun and so missed all but the last opening band. We found a little patch of grass centre stage and set up camp with Liz, Jessica and Milan and drank watered-down vodka and cranberry and overpriced, nasty american beer.
Ah, but The Cure again! Fabulous as ever, but it seemed like a short show, and no "A Forest" with that long, drawn-out, powerful ending...! A couple people mentioned 100 Years as being the highlight of this show, and I'd have to agree. It's still running through my head two days later and I don't mind a bit!
For a short period of time, I was home again.
