Back to school
Been here a lil over a week now. I love it. My new roomate is fabulous. Her name is Jane. I've been very good about my sleep schedule so far. I get up before 9 everyday...usually I am up by 8. This gives me a lot of time before classes on the days when I don't have class until 12:30 or 2, but also gives me just enough time when class begins at 10. I really like all my classes so far. I'm taking Development of Anthropological Thought, Understanding Latin America, South American Indians, Gender and Anthropology, Race and Racism in U.S. History and Physical Geography. The latter is the one I was least excited about initially, because I'm only taking it to fulfill a science requirement. However, the prof. is very interesting and enthusiastic which motivates me a lot. Hopefully I will become more interested in the class as it progresses. All the other ones are awesome!
My mohawk is back and better than ever! Jon shaved my head and cut the hawk down to size on Saturday and I've been wearing it up ever since. So far the weather has been fairly kind to me and I haven't felt the need to seek out earmuffs. I have a feeling it would be good to get some anyway...as preventative maitanence.
The first a cappella get together was yesterday and I felt like it went really well. I baked a cake for everyone. It was yummy :-)
OK enough for now, time to go play Final Fantasy (hehe)
