I still kind of feel like he thinks she's retarded, and even though he has now maybe -- sort of?! -- looked at her cleavage, I'm going to quote Buffy's Xander on this and say, "No offense, but when a guy does that, it just means his eyes are open."
KT might still pair them, I don't know. I'll be annoyed, though, because everything else about Mashiro seems to aggravate Kensei so much, and knowing that he was once her captain only makes his line way back when--
(Mashiro is expressing confusion at the training to get Ichigo to maintain his hollow form, and Shinji informs us all that she was, after all, able to retain her form right away for more than 15 hours without any training, so she never had to do any, and Kensei's reaction to this piece of news is incredulity, as if he can't imagine her ever doing anything competent, and then indifference)
--even more indicative of a total lack of interest in her. I mean, you'd think being her captain would have made him closer to her, or at least prevented him from underestimating her so severely, but we are talking about events he witnessed himself, events displaying tremendous power and awesome on her part, and he just forgot about them.
No, not in fact OTP. Pair anyone else with Kensei -- and try not to pair Mashiro at all, because sex with the debilitatingly-retarded is statutory rape.
