(no subject)
well colin did manage to come to bloomington for a visit. it was fraught with frustrating interruptions such as three shifts at work (most of which i did manage to wiggle out of early so i could get back o him) etc. but which was over all, a great sucess. he's recovering quickly and should be back to normal in a few more weeks. we went to see the new charlie and the chocolate factory which i loved if only for johnny depp who is always amazing.
i've already finished the new harry potter which is sad, i was hoping it would last another day or two at least. it was good though, oh my yes.
next i'm reading "behind the scenes at the museum" by kate atkinson (reccomended by jessica) which i've read the first few chapters of and which sounds promising. after i finish that (probably also too quickly) i'll have to go and get a library card and borrow a few things. i'm thinking trashy-ish mysteries. maybe ones where the detective has cats or something. or i'll raid jessica and casey for more novels but i think what i really want next is the book casey's reading. maybe mathew will lend me his copy once he's done with it. (yes, they're reading the same book at the same time...cute? yes? hehe)
i'm so jealous of them, and jess and eliot who get to be together all summer. i know they're all busy and probably don't even get to see each other as much as they would like (although maybe they like what they get, who can say, some people get sick of each other after too much alone time...) but still, it's a lot better than what i've got. i think, if colin had not come to stay the past few days i would have gotten stuck in a pretty bad funk until i saw him again. i just feel so lonely when he's not around, even when there are roommates and friends around. ha, lame babbling, i'd better stop now. goodnight kids, gonna go read for three days as i don't have another shift at work until friday...wish me luck
