c and i really tried to make it to austin to see the clock but airfare was insanely expensive. regardless, thousands of miles away, the clock has had a profound impact on me. i have found myself thinking about it everyday, rooting for everyone  from afar and rooting for the people around me here as well.  it has reminded me of friendships, the art
