Speech Team
So I'm on Speech Team which you should know by now. And I had practice today. Ms Wingate and I comprimised and we decided I'd be good for Storytelling. So I have this little kid's story called Toot and Puddle. IT IS THE CUTEST BOOK EVER! Toot and Puddle are these 2 pigs that are best friends. They also have this parrot friend named Tulip. And 3 other friends: Otto the turtle, Phil the rooster, and Ginny the hamster [Go Ginny!!] and throughout the book, Toot is moping. And finally at the end there is a thunderstorm and it makes the air fresh and toot feel better again. it's so cute. ^^ i love this book! Anywho, the pictures are ADORABLE too! What a great kids book...[I liked it better than this book where this 4 year old kid has a grandmother that he calls Nana Downstairs cuz she's always in the kitchen and a great-grandmother taht he calls Nana Upstairs cuz she's 94 and has to stay in bed all day. And at the end, the great-grandmother dies! WHAT KIND OF CHILD'S BOOK HAS A GRANDMOTHER THAT JUST DIES?!?! The kid's only 4 and he has to ask his mum what "die" means!!!] Well, anyway. I feel pretty good today.
