this is why i don't go to bars
so i joined andrew and amy for a beer after work but just after i ordered my second drink they remmembered a forgotten dinner engagement and left me alone with a full beer and the drunk fundie who had been sitting next to us. i accepted his offer of a smoke cause i was drunk and really wanted a cig but boy have i never regretted it more. being stuck with opinionated people who basically just want to hear themselves speak is why i never go to bars alone in the first place. "you're a woman and you don't like sarah palin!?! how can this be!?" uggh save me. at least i had really tasty beers
