my parents are officially insane. i mean, i should have seen it coming with them getting older, but their actions today just officially made them insane. what did they do? well let's see...
there's a family that lives across the street from us that is also indian and from the same state as my parents. my parents went to visit them to see how their newborn baby was and they had a couple of little girls over. the girls were there to not only look at their new cousin, but their parents were at work. so you know what my crazy parents did? they invited the two girls (ages 5 & 7) to our house. of course they invite them to our house because THEY don't have to deal with them. those girls were on SPEED!!! they were running all over the place, picking up things, playing with stuff, and talking without taking a pause. at one point my mom tried to get them to eat stuff, and they just didn't care. their main goal was to explore our house. (this was stated as soon as they entered our house). i'd tell them to color and this trick ALWAYS works...but noooooooo...not with these girls. just running around yelling and running....not so much fun. it was all kinds of crazy. when i finally tried to get the girls to go home, they wouldn't leave!!! i told them they would need to go so they could sleep. they told me that people don't sleep, just watch tv. when i finally convinced them to go home, i told them to make sure to hold my hand. "we don't need to hold anyone's hand!!!" i open the door and out they run!!! i had to run after them and they just ran inside the house. i don't want kids now.
