FINALS ARE OVER!!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!! enough said about that.
sunday night the family and i went to holiday in the park at six flags. i don't know why we try to take family outings because they don't end up going well. holiday in park was soooo cold!!! we got to ride a train, ride the spongebob ride, ride runaway mountain, and watch a bunch of cheesy shows. now i know that its the holiday season, blah, blah, blah...but watching all those cheesy shows just brought out my cynicism even more. we were watching this one show called "cool yule" and it was outdoors and had four people singing. it was made up of two guys and two girls who were dressed "hip" and christmas songs by groups like nsync. it was sooo bad, and i felt like making some snarky comments. of the guys was talking about how he missed his girlfriend because she had given him a rolex last year. now from the way he was acting, i don't think he was having that type of relationship with this girl and she was just a friend who was willing to give him expensive gifts. i mean come on, every jack needs a karen if ya know what i mean!! i also hated the cheesy commentary they had between and during songs. blech. after a few songs my family and i couldn't take it anymore and we left. the thing i like best at six flags was the scrooge puppet that was insulting everyone. of course my family didn't want to stay and watch that because it was too cold. come on!!! he was insulting people and it was great!!!
yesterday i came to realization that people who have any type of patriotic memorabilia on their vehicles turn out to be the biggest assholes on the road. has anyone else realized this? they're the ones who cut you off in traffic or almost crash into you, but noooo...its okay because they have an american flag on their car thus making it okay for them to act like assholes. yesterday my sister and i were going christmas shopping and we were at a four-way stop. when it was our turn to go, this truck (which didn't even bother to stop at the stop sign) took his turn ahead of us. guess what was on his truck? a bulldog holding a flag, a red/white/blue ribbon that said to be patriotic, and a boycott france sticker. yes asshole, your behavior makes me proud to be an american. alright, i'm going to finish my laundry now.
