I am submitting my rough draft of Community Guidelines for comment and suggestion. It's short. I did not want, in any way, to limit the way in which people can show their thanks. But I did want to make it clear that hateful behavior is not on the menu today or ever.
>>This community is dedicated to the spirit of thankfulness. That is the main focus. If you are thankful in your heart then this is the place to shout it. There are many ways in which humans - through the centuries - have expressed their deeply felt thankfulness.
If you see something posted to this community that is different from what you consider to be appropriate or you see posts that reflect beliefs that are different from yours please remember that the focus of the site is Being Thankful and expressing through words, pictures and ideas that thankfulness. There are many places now both in reality and virtually where you can discuss all manner of what is 'same' and what is 'different'.
Not here. Hateful remarks will not be tolerated. If you see something that is different from what you call Sacred - then stop reading. Move on to the next post.
Let it be enough that we are thankful.<<
