Pray for us...
Several months ago, I posted about my cousin who was being sent to Iraq. At the time, it was a false alarm... but as of the first of the year, he did indeed ship overseas.
This morning, I recieved a breaking news report from CNN about a helicopter crash that killed 31 marines. The copter was carrying personnel from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and the 1st Marine Division.
My cousin is stationed with an Aircraft Wing.
I called my uncle, but he is unsure which Wing my cousin is stationed with. He does think that the city the copter crashed near was in my cousin's area. He's now checking with my cousin's wife in South Carolina. Hopefully, we'll know something soon.
My heart bleeds for the families of those who died... but I pray that my cousin was not among them.
