i just really need to type this all down.
1. ok. so yesterday was FACT, Filipino Americans Coming Together, biggest Midwestern Conference for FilAms that U of I always hosts. and last night was the after party at the Canopy.
2. hay nako si Richard, ang gago kasi di nag dala nang jacket dahil naka park lang nang malapit or whatever, so linalamig yung gago at gusto niya makipag share sa jacket ko. sabi "i like you but i dont like you that much" tapos blah, blah, blah ang lamig daw niya tapos sabi pa naman sakin "my pants are torn i'm cold all the way too my boxers" ang sabi ko "we're not THAT CLOSE... TOO MUCH INFORMATION" ang gago talaga non
3. the Variety show was good but the last act, OMG i dont even want to talk about it. puta. ang sama grabe. me and Richard sat together during the V(ariety) Show and i said all my commentary, of course. then we went to dinner together at the Y and at the Y we decided to go to the after party together since he had a car and would just pick me up dahil ayaw nga namin pumunta nang magisa ano.
4. so sabay nga kami. he picked me up at 12-ish (then we picked up Carl) then we got to the Canopy to find a VERY LONG LINE. at sobrang lamig kagabi, like 38 something at NAKA SKIRT AT TANK TOP LANG ako. i was SOOOOO COLD. and the cover was FIFTEEN DOLLARS.
5. granted that was all i spent last night because i think Richard paid for my dinner and i dont know if i'm supposed to pay him back or did we agree that that was one of my "drinks" because he did say the night before ata that he would be getting me drunk and buying my drinks. blah, blah. so, Fozzy bought my first double shot ($6) which he was not so happy about, bwahahahaha, but it was really cold outside so i needed to get warm quick and none of the guys were abe to come in yet because the bar was SO FULL na one in one out na sila at nauna ako makapasok sa dalawa kung kasama. and then for the rest of the night's drinks Carl and Richard covered me. granted it was Carl that went to buy since me and Chard are underaged, blah blah. so after the first double tequila, i had another double then a bottle of Corona and then a single.
6. which i spilled on myself, boo, some lang naman. but then it got into my eyes a bit and ruined my make up so i had to turn to the guys and ask if i was still pretty and they said i looked fine and i think it was Richard who said that we could just fix it and wiped off my face, which was nice.
7. which reminds me, those two are such GUYS (but then there are times when Richard is such a girl) because while we were waiting to get in i said something about ironing my hair and Carl goes something like "wala namang nagbago ah"... wow. i feel so pretty. boo. and then this morning when i saw him again, he goes "straight pa hair mo ah!" then i go, "kasi kakaligo ko lang!" sira talaga yun.
8. so... umm. yeah. i was dancing.
9. and i danced with him. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10. kasi... i dont know. that day i saw him at the V show. blah blah. i think outside of Foelinger as i was approaching it, he saw me and i think may have come towards me... but i may have been imagining it. then i saw Richard and the convo with you know who kinda ended so i went towards Chard and yun pala he was calling me, etc. so yun.
11. tapos he (as in si YKW) was waiting for a couple of his friends just standing there or whatever... at wala naman akung rason para lapitan siya, or whatever. then we went to get seated dun kami sa may harap and he was somewhere at the back alone... so nagpasimple ako at "nagbanyo" (which i actually did do) and went towards him and asked him why he was seated alone and then he said he was waiting for some friends and then i said ok then left. which... ok. so. anyway. yun na yun. we were at the same table during dinner at the Y. pero malayo siya so no go there. pero ang galing nang SILAY ko. hahaha! tapos nawala siya, etc. ok whatever. di to importante.
12. i was actually talking to Ate Carleen (very cool lady, she feeds me) about this whole crush thing and she's says it's a game... kailangan daw i have to give him some kind of indication that... something. actually di ko masyado alam what i'm SUPPOSED TO DO. kasi nga medyo wala akong alam ano. so yun. sabi ni Ate Carleen... kailangan ko daw na... ummm... give him some kind of encouragement? ewan. something like... ERGH. BASTA IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A GAME. and i dont know the rules. and i hate games. ang point ni Ate Carl is that medyo... bobo ang mga boys, para lang silang girls na medyo confused, etc. erm. yeah. so. also, Ate Carl finds it significant na hinanap niya yung number ko. ok. so. and i think she may have proposed that this damn crush stems from that event. and i agree with her.
13. and, oh God.
14. eto yung nangyari. i was dancing... and Carl and Chard were near kasi nga we were sticking close to each other, etc. tapos (nakita ko na siya before that... but it was just fast, enough for me to say a perky "hi Danny!" then move on) i think i may have been in front of Carl because biglang lumapit si YKW at nag hi kay Carl. and this part is hazy because i think it may have happened really fast. i was dancing. he was in front of me. i may have been going near him. and then suddenly his hand was on my waist (ooh, i love this song. it's that song with the guitar plucking that EVERYBODY back home knows).
15. so dancing. ergh. umm. yeah. dancing.
16. at many points in this whole maybe... 5-10 minutes... God, it felt like forever during that time and yet not... gets? or is it just me. shet now im having all these doubts about the legitimacy of this dance... was I the one who was all AGRRESSIVE... or was it HIM AND ME. BECAUSE I DONT KNOW. and I'M CONFUSED.
17. getting to the point, we were... very close.
18. as in literaly. as in... physically. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as in "dirty dancing" as the ICA girls said. bwahahahaha. whatver, everybody does it here, ok. it's not weird. i'm pretty sure i had his knee some where near both of mine, if you get what i'm saying here.
19. shet. abot ako sa shoulders niya in two inch heels. so he's tall. at di ko siya matignan. at. shet. i was laying my head on his shoulders (kasi nga drunk ako, basta yun yung "excuse" ko) or whatever. AND I WAS SO HAPPY. granted it may have been the 2 doubles (at that point) and the beer i had that was making me HAPPY but STILL, SHET.
20. i think i may have built him up in my head. no, i KNOW. so.
21. we were dancing. for a long time.
22. we were BOTH very drunk. apparently he was at two diffrent parties before Canopy. he has a lot of friends that is why we will never be.
23. and then his roommate came to take him away. sadness. ok. sigh. shet. i think ang nangyari was that his roommate came to talk to him and then... OMG, do you think that the roommate came to save him????????????? because it happens, people make like PACTS not to let each other do stupid things. like me and Chard agreed that he would stop me from doing something stupid (i.e. kiss some guy in an afro) and i would save him from getting tougne raped by obesse girls. dont ask. (what i was going to say was that lumapit yung best friend i turned to maybe Chard tapos pagtinging ko wala na sila YKW.)
24. oh yeah, Chard is sad that i wasted my first kiss on afro guy. i told him about it in the car when he was driving me back to ISR after dinner... and that's where we agreed to keep wach other out of the kissing type of trouble.
25. so, OMG. do you think that i was like HOGGING HIM. because i was very PRESSED UP AGAINST HIM.

29. so while we were dancing (it's funny that we TRIED TALKING during this dancing thing because it was very LOUD and also we were drunk, haha; i'm pretty sure i said something about sweating a lot) at some point, he said something along the lines of "Your friends are protective". oh the hillarity. (i'm pretty sure the guys were watching us dance.)

Chard first. kagabi, sobrang best friend ko siya. kagabi lang and maybe a little bit of today since he did get me doughnuts best friend ko siya. hahaha. he bought me drinks. i told him i had a crush on danny and he's like "who's danny" i say "the guy i was dancing with" (and now that i think about it, sana walang nakarinig sakin non... but then, i may have told him this while i was on his lap, kasi wala nang upuan... or no, this was when i was seated beside him na dahil the keys were killing him or something) so yun. then he tells me he has a crush on... but i'm not saying it because i did say i wasnt saying anything. bwahahaha. ok. nakakatawa. damn Richard is fun to hang with.
31. so si Carl. hay nako. seryoso nagka kuya ako. so i was wearing my nice green top with strappy-ness. so sumasayaw ako ano, de nahuhulog yung strap... i think he did it like THREE TIMES na INAKYAT NI CARL ANG STRAP KO. and so this didnt sink it that night but then in the sober light of the afternoon... man. that was weird and funny. and kind of sweet yeah... but HELLO. nakakatawa. i think last night we established that he and i have a big brother little sister type of friendship. which is funny.
32. i think Carl told Richard to make sure i got up to my room. which was just so funny because i remember actually going back and forth while Chard was waiting for the elevator and reminding him that he was my bestfriend for the night and he REALLY SHOULDNT TELL CARL that i liked Danny. God i hope he didnt.

34. but then you know, before Danny, i was sorta dancing with this weird dude tapos medyo na weirdohan ako so lumayo ako at linapitan ko si Chard at si Carld at nag "tago" ako sa liko nila sort of and said "Save me". which is why, if kung binabantayan nga ako ni Carl while dancing with Danny, he was doing that. because i already asked him to cover for me. which so did not make sense.

37. ay puta, i almost forgot. sabi nang phone ko, at around three (maybe 2 dahil nga weird yung oras kagabi dahil sa DST), he texted me asking how i was feeling. and then i replied twice... once in a jumble of letters while still in the car. then when i got back to the dorm and in bed, and maybe after the second drunk call to carol (ask her about it, i may ave been very funny, she tells me it was), i texted him a longer-ish message(just adding the question of how HE was since he WAS DRUNKER than me) with less jumble. AND PUTA DI TALAGA NAGREREPLY. ANO BA!!!!!!!!!?????????????? grr.
