Fun With Drugs
Tyler was spending time with Connor a lot recently. It was slightly worrying everyone because Connor was a bad influence by himself. Tyler was going through Connor's room while he was making food. He was looking for something specific.
He jumped when Connor said something behind him. Tyler turned around. "I'm just.." Connor shook his head.
"If you're looking for pills, they're behind the TV."
Tyler looked at him for a short while. "How.."
"I used to do what you were doing in my mom's room." He walked over to the television and grabbed the pills. "I'll give you two."
"Actually.." Connor looked at him. Tyler quickly shook his head. "Nevermind." He held out his hand. Connor dropped two pills in his hand.
"Take it with water."
Tyler nodded and hurried out of the room. Connor looked at the doorway, then chuckled. "That might've been a bad idea."
Over the next month Tyler would ask for pills from Connor; Connor wouldn't always give him some though. He finally asked him why he wanted so many. Tyler said they were for Zeno and Tobi too.
Connor sighed and told Tyler to bring them over so they could talk. He made Oliver take Izzy out for the day so he could talk to the young three.
"Why are you guys interested in pills?" They all just stared at the floor. "C'mon. Tell me."
Zeno sighed. "We.. We're just.. experimenting.. a little.." Connor nodded.
"Okay. Why?" Tobi chewed his lip.
"You always seem... funner.. and more happy on drugs." Connor chuckled.
"Well, I am." They all looked at him. "Look. I'm not gunna tell you to stay off drugs, because for me, it's fuckin' fun." Their eyes widened. "What? Yeah sometimes I take too many and get loopy, but with the right amount, I'm actually a pleasant person."
"What about.."
Connor looked at Tobi. "What about what?"
"Isn't there a down side?" Connor shrugged.
"I haven't found one. I've been takin' pills since I was twelve."
Tyler chewed his lip. "We.. We wanna take something else." Connro blinked. He leaned back on his hands.
"What do you wanna take?"
The three looked at each other. "We.. We were hoping.. you'd tell us what.."
"What was good?" They nodded. Connor chuckled and pulled out his phone. They watched him type on it until their phones buzzed. "I sent you an address of a guy. He sells a bunch of other stuff, but he lets you off free for the first time you try something." They nodded. "Find what you want and take it. If you want pot or mood elevators again, just come to me okay?" They nodded. "Good. You don't wanna buy either from people you don't know that good." He got up. "Keep it a secret though, okay?"
"Why?"
"I'm likely to get my ass kicked and I really don't want that."
They laughed a little and got up. "We.. We're gunna.."
Connor chuckled. "Go on. Oliver and Izzy should be comin' back soon." The three nodded and left. Connor stretched as he went to the kitchen. "I shouldn't be allowed to mentor kids."
