You're In My Veins

He studied his pills. There was over fourty. He doesn't know why though. Why would you give a depressed person something to kill themselves with? He didn't get that.

They just wanted his money.

Nobody want him better. They just wanted him to waste money on himself so they could take Izabella away from him.

That's why he stopped taking them.

His doctor had called a few times because he hasn't refilled his prescription in a while. He just sends it to voicemail. His doctor has even came over, but he didn't answer the door.

Oliver is trying hard to help him. But Connor doesn't want it.

He doesn't want to feel weak, because he isn't. He doesn't want people to give handouts, because he doesn't need them.

He doesn't want to live because there was no point.

He laughed at himself. If Alisha or his mom was there, they'd edge him on. They'd give him all these reasons why he should go through with it. And Izzy would-

Izzy, huh?

She needed him. She would go to a home because he would be gone. Oliver would-

Oliver too?

He definitely needs him. Who else would take his hits so he'd calm down? Who would help him when he was breaking down? Tracey? He-

Tracey needs him too. Who would he go to when something was wrong? Tracey never broke down because he had Connor there to bring him back up from getting too close to one.

People needed Connor then, right? He couldn't just quit.

He looked down at his pills. He picked up one and swallowed it. He put the rest in the bottle. He got up and left his house.

Tracey's house was safe. He could help him right now. Tracey could take the pills away from him and get the idea out of his head.

Because he was still needed.

angst, connor
