Horseback riding fun! Wee!

Kai and I went to Utah this past weekend to spend sometime with his mom. It was awesome. We left San Francisco Friday afternoon and stayed until Monday evening. The highlight of the weekend was horseback riding at Park City Resort. It was absolutely fun.

I just spent the last three hours or so editing pictures and coming up with a widget to share. How hard was that? (Ha, not really, I'm just pretty lame.)

You don't see this everyday living in the city. I absolutely loved it.

The leaves changed colors in the couple of days we were there. It was breathtaking.

Not having seen changing seasons before since I lived in California all my life, I immediately fell in love with the "country side" that is Utah.

I really wished I could see skies and mountain sides like this on a daily basis.

This is Cowboy Jim. He was fun. I think Kai's mom has a crush on him! :)

Kai and his mom, Cindi. In most of the pictures I have of her riding, she's got this scared look on her face. It was cute. She was cute.

I love that Kai's laughing at his mom. Look at her face! I love it!

Kai and his mom again. I really love this picture.

Kai looked absolutely stunning on his steed! I loved it.

This is the view that we saw up on the mountain we were on. It was amazing.

Again with the changing leaves. I couldn't get enough!

The blue skies......

This is me and my horse, Drifter. He was the largest one out of the three, which is weird because I was the smallest. I actually got on him with very minimal help, something that I am tremendously proud of! He kinda got a little out of hand at the beginning (it totally freaked me to the point where I didn't wanna ride him anymore), but as the ride went on, we bonded and my love for him grew.

Here's Drifter freaking out a little bit. See how my face is?

A little portion of our trail. We went up and around the mountain and then back down to the base. It was a good hour or so.

Here, Mrs. Siddiqui looks more like a rider.

Here we are at the end of the ride.

Lastly, here's my babe with his horse, I forgot her name. I think it was Comanche or something. Never Native American, I like it. Kai really enjoyed himself because he got his horse trotting, something I was too scared to try.

These pictures are distorted because they're actually 800x600 shrunk down to 450x338. I forgot to upload them into a smaller size.

To view a slide show of my photo album, click here, or if you just wanna go straight to my photo album on Picasa, click here. I've got a bunch more pictures there that's definitely worth a see (I mean, if you're bored and you don't have anything else to do).

It's 5:30AM now, an hour after I started this entry. I was supposed to go to sleep when Kai left at 1:00AM, but I wanted to do this instead. Now I have to wake up 3 1/2 hours from now to go with Kai to the City Council because he didn't show up for Jury Duty. What a boy!!!!
