winter wonderland
sidenote: Has LJ been acting wacky for anyone else for the past like...week?
Yay! It snowed! ^_^ I like snow even if it is that nasty sleet/snow/rain mixture.
I hadn't stepped foot outside all day today until about 20 mins ago to take out my trash (yeah, I hole myself up when I don't have to go to work) and I wore sandals and shorts...kinda chilly! But, yay! It snowed!
My mom says I have to go home and help her cook Thansgiving dinner tomorrow. SUCK. I can't cook. I have no interest in cooking. She should be content that my brother became a chef and leave me to my own devices. :p The only thing about Thanksgiving I like is my mom's gravy and turkey and watching my grandad get more food on his belly than in his mouth. :p She says I have to come over and at least "pretend" to learn how to cook.
Also, I'm supposed to get presents for my brother's "girlfriend"'s kids for Christmas. Umm..yeah...I've never met them and don't really want to meet them. I don't approve of his situation and I don't want to go visit them, "Meg" (which I think her name is), or my brother. I'm more likely to get Carolyn (his ex-wife) a gift than Meg. The kids names are Elaina (whom I hear is a spoiled brat) and George (who is an uber nerd). Elaina requests My Little Pony toys and George wants Yu-Gi-Oh junk. *sighs* Whatever. I think I'll cheat and get all of them one of those "present for the whole gang" type things. Like a crock pot. Hey, my brother wanted one anyway. Erg...my brother. He frustrates me so much. Meh.
I've also been bad and watching Full Metal Alchemist when I'm not reading manga. (too much manga. ;_;) And...I don't wanna watch anymore cause they killed off my favorite character. :( Boooo!
