Taken with my phone, this is Rosie and Siseal. I get some good milk out of that big mama! She is a milking shorthorn and 2000 lbs of pure love. We average around 3 gallons a milking.
There is no better meditation in this world than milking an animal, I sit down, rest my head against their warm bodies and take in the smell, the feel, the warmth, the relaxation that comes with locking myself in a stall with a 2000 lb beast and not being disturbed for at least 1/2 hour.
