Sometimes I am so disturbed at how conservative some of our friends seem to be out of nowhere. I don't get the whole, I don't want government messing with my health care argument. Are you really telling me that you a.)prefer to not have health care if given the option to be able to afford it; b.)are going to get upset at a much lower fine for not having health insurance (if you can afford it) then if you were caught driving your car without insurance whether you can afford it or not; c.)(if you have insurance you) are already paying something towards those who do not have health insurance currently in your health care costs-its just hidden now.
Its just such a stupid argument...I don't want the government making decisions about my health care, I'd much rather have a greedy profit-minded corporation doing that.
That's really Obama's problem...he tries to make it as rationale as possible, we are doing x, y, and z because it will help fix this problem, people just go nuts. If he came out screaming..."If you don't want health care you are unpatriotic" he would probably have much less opposition. He needs some serious propaganda posters for American Health Care. In fact, that is your task for today...create some propaganda posters.
