New year's eve and jan 1st
1. My sister used to live in Campo de la Cruz, which is one of the towns affected by the flooding and she lost her house, but thank God she was able to get her belongings out of there before it was too bad. And she was fortunate enough to have family here in Barranquilla; many people didn't have that luxury and they were not able to get their things out before the water was too high and they did lose everything they had.
So, we all got together and spent new year's eve and today @ my aunt's house to say good bye to an eventful year.
