Represent!
The NY Times has an article today all about my hometown! I haven't done a lot of traveling so I realize I'm very biased when I say this, but I think it's the most beautiful little town in the world. Be sure to check out the gorgeous slideshow!
A caveat: My parents built the house in 1971 (when Avalon was an absolute ghost town) for less than 5% of its current value, so it's not like I'm from an uber-privileged background or anything. I'm just lucky to have grown up in a beautiful, safe place at the shore. :)
