Allow me to pick myself back up again and brush off the dirt.
Actually, real life hasn't been too bad. It's been my internet connection that was giving everyone grief. (My brother and I like our Internets. We hasn't used it lately.) A reliable connection is a must for chatting with the online buddies, no?
So just around the corner is one of my all-time favourite holidays. Halloween. We don't get a lot of trick-or-treaters our way -- we're in the country -- but I'm still going to prepare some treat bags for any that do come to our house. I think next year I'm going to buy a bunch of the big candy bars a month or so in advance. It's always cool to receive a regular size candy bar than the "fun-size". ^_^
Sometime this week, I'm hoping to get to Reed City to fill out an application for a job. I kind of can't resist nor refuse to put my application into this place. Starting pay is over $12 per hour and with the holidays coming to descend upon me like a pack of hungry dogs, I would be stupid to not apply. Also, my doctor's bill is getting ridiculously high because I need to go in for lab work at least twice a year, and I'm living on a very limited income. It sucks. (I'm still going to be writing, but I don't think I'm going to hear back from a publishing company before December. Not at the rate I'm going . . . someone please kick me in the ass?) Now, there is no guarantee I'll get this job. I still have to try, if only so I have something once the unemployment runs out.
