A/N: Just a small "sample" writing I did on FanFiction.net for other sites like this. After I read YunSung’s translated profile for Soul Calibur IV, this idea popped into my head XD. Please read, enjoy, and comment if you want! P. S. Oneshot!
Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Calibur, NAMCO does. Because if I did, this WHOLE fic would be part of the game…And more Shoujo-Ai cough Tira’s CF cough-cough X3. (Just Kidding about the last one…or not XD)
As Mina and Talim finally decided to go to sleep, YunSung desired to do no such thing. Instead, he wanted to continue his journey to find and wield the Sword of Salvation, Soul Edge. So he grabbed the Dao: White Storm, and was ready to set off…But suddenly, he stopped and thought…
‘I know I’ve been told that the sword is evil MILLIONS of times, but I just feel it’s the right thing to do…I MUST protect my country’
“Forgive me Mina” he said from under his breath, “Forgive me Tal…”
He took one last look at their faces, and left.
After weeks of traveling west, YunSung finally made it to his destination, the Osthreinsburg Castle. As he took a deep breath, knowing that this would be the toughest experience he’ll ever get. Just then, a familiar voice said:
“…Is that you…YunSung?...”
“Hwang?! What happened to you?”
YunSung knew that it had something to do with Soul Edge since Hwang’s injuries were serious. He was cut in several areas; he could even barely stand up.
“Whatever you do…You should cast away yourself from this castle, now!” said Hwang, who was out of breath.
“And why should I?”
“…Soul Edge…It’s an evil sword…”
YunSung was very shocked to hear this from his respected fellow swordsman. Hwang continued to try and persuade YunSung not to risk his life and go after the sword, but as usual, our stubborn Korean student could NOT get that one goal out of his head. Hwang was eventually convinced that YunSung might possibly have the willpower to overcome the evil sword while wielding it. Hwang was also convinced that the fellow student he once beaten and humiliated, was growing more mature, despite his unchanged opinion of Soul Edge. Hwang was going to tell YunSung about the Greek warrior guarding the evil sword for her beloved child until Hwang was knocked unconscious.
“Don’t you DARE enter that castle!”
As Hwang’s body dropped, YunSung saw that it was Mina who knocked out Hwang. Mina caught Hwang in her arms just in time.
“I heard you the whole night you were trying to sneak off…” said Talim, who punched him in the head from behind.
“So, I was trying to prove myself--”
“Of WHAT?! You know that Mina and I both told you of the impure sword…And yet, you still considered going after it…”
A tear comes out of Talim’s eye.
“You know…I just wish you learn your lessons…”
“Talim…”
“…I’d hate to say this, but you’re a complete…DUMBASS!”
Talim walks away.
“Man, that was HARSH…” said Mina. “…But I hope you’ve learned your lesson!”
YunSung is still thinking about Talim…crying over him.
“Hey Talim…WAIT!”
YunSung runs after Talim.
“Those are some weird friends you have there…” said Hwang, who somehow recovered from his state.
“You’d think so…” said Mina. “Hey, wait! You weren’t here to come after me again…were you?!” Mina made her kitten eyes.
“…No…”
A/N: I’m so sorry I made Talim kind of violent in this fic, and if there were ANY OOCness…Please click that beautiful box and comment!
