My eyes are hanging out of my head!!!
Oh my god. When did I wake up and suddenly become an old fart.
I left the kids with Brian last night went out for a girls night out. Today I'm suffering the consequences. We went to this really nice Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond for dinner. It was so cheap and man, did we eat. There was 4 of us and we ate - 4 prawn rice paper rolls, 4 beef satay sticks, 4 chicken satay sticks, main size steamed rice, main size lemon chicken, main size prawns with cashews, main size crispy beef and lastly, a main size vegetables & bean curd. Oh, and I forgot to mention the 2 bottles of red wine. We got to the restaurant at 8.30pm and didn't leave until 11.30pm. What a feast. Although I was really good and only had really small portions of all the mains and only had 1 glass of the red wine (I was driving).
From there we went to Strike (bowling) in Chappel Street. The place is really good. Has got a huge bar, dance floor, massive video screens (which Bess would have loved as they were playing heaps of Gwen Stefani songs). By the time we got a lane and had 2 games it was 2am. Three of us could not bowl for shit so it was pretty funny (although Liana lied when she said she couldn't bowl as she whipped us). I must say, my fingers are sore this morning from the holes in the ball. Weird, well actually pathetic is probably the better word for it.
Anyway, the whole reason that my eyes are hanging out of my head is that I got home at 3am and Jack woke up at 6am. So I am sitting here feeling like crap (you know that almost hung over feeling you get when you have not had enough sleep), and so counting down the time until the boys go to bed (about 1.5 hours)
Going to get another coffee.
