Character Backgrounds
So everyone knows I need a background for your characters, at least a week before game time. Remember, the better your background (and length does not necessarily equal quality) the more possible bonuses you can start with, such as free equipment or even an extra dot or two!
Backgrounds should explain every attribute and skill with more than 2 dots, and should incorporate merits and flaws as well.
In addition, I need the following questions answered by everyone via PM or email, if they are not addressed in your background.
1. Why did the clan you're character was Embraced by choose him or her? Kindred don't create childer lightly, especially since every vampire is accountable for all of his or her progeny.
2. How did the Embrace affect your character, both the actual act and the change from human to undead monstrosity?
3. Why did your character choose the covenant he or she is a member of?
4. What ties to his or her mortal life does your vampire still have? Does he or she want any that he/she doesn't have?
5. How does your character think of mortals? Keep in mind, as the Beast overcomes the Man inside every vampire, he or she becomes less and less caring and more cold and callous. So telling me he views mortals as cattle to be slaughtered (Frost from the first Blade) tells me your character won't be a playable PC for long.
6. Does your character believe in Golconda, the mythical state of perfect vampiric harmony between Man and Beast?
7. What were some of your character's lifelong dreams or aspirations when mortal? What about as an undead?
