Another fic idea, I'm on a roll
I just happened to think of another Kuro fic idea. Once again whether it gets done or not is another matter.
One of my favorite Kuro fics (and there are few on this list because I'm really REALLY picky) is "Rooks and Romanticide" by obstinate_fate, which is casts Kuro characters in this completely AU version of Romeo and Juliet. Being a huge Shakespeare fan myself I was really impressed with this fic, including the rich original storyline and the way the characters were used. One thing that's far from a secret is my absolute love for "Macbeth." I actually came up with a similar AU setting idea for Macbeth cast with Kuro characters, though with a bit more of an original fantasy storyline.
I'm not going to go into the whole universe idea since it is kind of complex and I'll still need some time to hash it out. Here are a few of the casting ideas; when I say such and such character is being cast as this Macbeth character, I'm really serious about it. If you question a casting, you're seriously just going to have to trust me on what I'm doing because I have a whole scheme set up.
The basic cast is:
Macbeth - Grell
Lady Macbeth - Madam Red
Duncan - Undertaker
Malcolm - William
Macduff - Sebastian
The Witches - Lau and Ran-Mao
Banquo or Ross (still deciding which or both) - Ronald
Cawdor - Eric
I also have roles planned for Ciel, Claude, Alois, and Ash, though I'm not getting into those now. I might put other characters in other roles, but that is really preliminary.
Like all my other random ideas, I don't know when of if these will ever get written; they're just ideas. This one, however, might be a bit ore finite than the That 70's Reapers Show I described last week and I might start tinkering with it at some sooner point.
