Okay. I feel kinda bad coming back to LJ after so long away just because I have a problem, but you know, what else is online journaling for? And also I need your opinions and Twitter is way too short for this and my Tumblr is just a bunch of fandom squee (I'm under 'amelioratrix' at both places, if you want to catch up). I agree with leaning towards option 3. Life is short, and having awesome experiences like these you are planning is a super-important investment, in my opinion.

You have to let me know when you are going to be in NYC! Jill and I are only like 2 hours outside of the city.

We are totes meeting, with all the awkwardness that implies. Should I/we try to come to you guys? New York is great, but does your local area have charms too?

Frankly, not really. It's not a bad place to live, but if you are coming from the other side of the globe, there isn't much reason to travel several hours south to Allentown when you're already in the Big Apple.

Plus, heading up to NYC makes it like a mini-vacation for us, too! ;-)
