We have the strength and the time to open our arms to absolutely everyone. Rushing to judgment, condemning whole classes and groups of people--that is not in the spirit of Christ that I see in the Gospel. I can't find that spirit. I see the spirit of love, taking the message to absolutely everyone.""
I think that expresses my idea of Christianity best.

Christ told us how we would one day worship in spirit and in truth. Many folks, in grasping a glimmer of truth, squeeze out the spirit. Others lose the truth in just seeking only the sensations that accompany the spirit of His teachings.
I don't know much about Anne Rice - except what the popular media has had to say about her - but what a deep insight she has!
