[OOC] Island of Misfit Toys
Totally, totally OOC. Lacey reminded me to post it, so HERE IT IS. (Any typos, I blame on the tequila. MARGARITA MONDAYS, YOU GUYS.)
Last season, some of you may remember that we decided that the Ravenclaw team was the Island of Misfit Toys. With icons and everything. I don't even remember how or why, but in some chat, I was like, "IT'S LIKE THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYS" and it stuck.
Wow, we totally had no idea. Last year's team was practically the model of functional compared to this year's.
So are we still the Island of Misfit Toys? I'm going to go with YES, because we have (besides the LITTLES, does anyone else have a 2nd year and a 3rd year?):
- the chaser who has to have the quaffle charmed sparkly so she'll chase it
- the chaser who would rather wear pink to a match than blue and bronze
- the pureblood who hates everyone else on the team
- the dysfunctional on-and-off couple (DISCLAIMER: LACEY SAID IT NOT ME)
- the keeper who is dating someone on another team (Slytherin, of ALL POSSIBLE OPTIONS)
- and the seeker who isn't really sure she wants to be there half the time
